Local artist and worship leader John Dreher to release highly anticipated debut CD “Real To Me”

(Columbus, Ga. – June 6, 2011) - This Saturday, June 11, 2011, local Christian artist John Dreher will release his long anticipated, debut album, "Real To Me."
The album, a two year undertaking, features production by David "Von Doom" Harris of MBK Entertainment, the company known best for its association with Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys, and multi-platinum selling artist Tyrese Gibson. Also featured on the album are songs co-written by noted singer/songwriter Mark Patterson, and internationally sought conference speaker and pastor, Bishop Marshall S. McGill, Senior Pastor of Kingdom Metropolitan Worship Centre, Columbus, GA.
"This album isn't your ordinary worship album," says John. "The production is mainstream, but the content stays true to the Christian message. Any lover of God and any lover of music will enjoy this album. It's the best of both worlds!"
Songs like the opening anthem, "Living God," and "Again and Again" are energetic and exciting, and have urban pop undertones. "Real to Me," the title track, is musically relevant in a universal way, and conveys a message that resonates in so many people's lives in the world: God is good! The ballads vary from powerful and emotional in "Only God" and "Listening," to intimate and moving in "Insufficient" and "I Belong To You". Rounding off the album are feel-good, sing-alongs that will put a smile on even the most unsuspecting listener's face in "Can't Get Enough" and "You Are (I Worship You)."
John, an award winning vocalist and songwriter, has been singing Christian music, professionally, since 2001. In his early career, he traveled and sang with the urban soul/Christian group A7. He co-wrote the majority of the group's nationally distributed album, including the Billboard top 20 Gospel Charting, Gospel Choice Award Winning Song of The Year, "Don't Walk Away". As a soloist, John continued to perform in concerts, tours, and events in England, Israel, Canada, Northern Ireland, and throughout the United States. Currently, John serves as Worship Pastor at Kingdom Metropolitan Worship Centre, Columbus, GA, and tours with Benny Hinn Ministries, leading worship in arenas around the nation.
Saturday, John will release his debut album in conjunction with Marshall McGill Ministries International, and Kingdom Metropolitan Worship Centre's "Night of Worship", an event described as a "dynamic corporate worship and praise experience for the masses!"
